Description Uses: Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 is suitable for use on: Steel shuttering Plywood shutters Plastic formwork Advantages: When applied, Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 offers the following benefits: Excellent adhesion to steel and timber formwork Reduces concrete contamination Prevents rusting of the formwork Cost-effective Minimizes blowhole formation Product Data: Type: Chemical and oil blend Form: Amber liquid Packaging: Available in 20 L and 200 L drums Storage: Keep in a dry area between 5ºC and 35ºC. Protect from direct sunlight Shelf life: At least 12 months from the production date when stored in the original unopened packaging Technical Data: Density at 25ºC: Approximately 0.86 kg/L Dilution ratio: Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 : Diesel Fuel = 1 : 39 (by volume) Coverage: Approximately 25 – 60 m²/L or 15 – 35 g/m² (after dilution) Application Details: Surface condition: The formwork surface should be clean, free from dirt and laitance. Application: Stir before use. Dilute Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 with Diesel Fuel as per the recommended dilution rate. Apply one coat using a brush, roller, cloth, or spray. Ensure new formwork remains dry before and after application. Important: Do not wet the applied coating even when the surface is dry. Allow Sika® Mould BA Concentrate 1:39 to evaporate before placing concrete. Cleaning: Clean all equipment and tools with detergent and lukewarm water. Remarks: After application, protect the treated area from rain before placing the concrete.
