Description Usage: SikaCeram 10W Primer is used primarily in the preparation of substrates before tiling with ceramic, porcelain, or stone tiles. Its key functions are: To promote adhesion between the adhesive and substrates such as concrete, gypsum, plaster, and existing tile surfaces. To create an ideal bonding layer for tiling applications, especially on smooth or non-porous surfaces. To be applied in both residential and commercial projects, ensuring a strong, reliable bond for tile installation. To be used in areas where high performance and durability are required, including high-traffic zones and environments exposed to moisture. Application: Surface Preparation: Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of dirt, grease, oils, and any loose materials. If necessary, remove old adhesives or coatings. Application of Primer: Using a brush, roller, or a suitable applicator, apply a uniform coat of SikaCeram 10W Primer onto the substrate. For smooth surfaces, a thin layer is sufficient. Drying Time: Allow the primer to dry completely (typically 30-60 minutes), depending on the environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. Tile Adhesive Application: Once the primer is dry to the touch, you can immediately apply the tile adhesive over it for a solid bond.
