Important Application Note on Colour Opacity When using tinted versions of our Polyurethane Floor Varnish, please be aware that some colours may contain a higher volume of titanium white pigment. Titanium white is a powerful opacifier, which can increase the opacity and coverage of the varnish. To ensure a smooth and even finish, we recommend the following: Dilute the varnish with white spirit by 10%, up to a maximum of 20% before application. Apply in thin, even coats, allowing each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next. Building up the finish gradually will help avoid brush marks and ensure a more professional, durable result. This approach is especially important when working with lighter or pastel shades, where pigment concentration can be higher.
