The solid brass pulls are original to the drawers of the Vintage Chippendale Style Mahogany Desk, while the interiors of the drawers are created from the highest quality hardwoods and the drawers are dovetailed both front and back. With seven standard drawers each with an in interior depth of 16″ this desk is both decorative and functional. It is built using a one part construction method, the top and two pedestals being permanently connected and still solid after decades of use. Great quality construction throughout the desk shines through even after approximately eighty years of use.This desk has undergone a “sympathetic restoration” by a conservator with over forty years of experience.
