Product Description Architectural cladding is prone to rapid deterioration, colour loss, and silvering or greying. With its unique UV stabilising technology, Armourflex® Ultimate Cladding UV Protection Oil is a premium blend of natural oils, waxes, and resins that guards against weathering and UV damage that turns wood swollen, twisted, and grey. The finish also has active chemicals that help stop the formation of algae, fungus, and mould. This oil is suitable for both softwood and hardwood, providing a water repellent finish that is resistant to flaking, cracking, blistering and peeling. ArmourFlex Protection Oil prevents cladding and external wood from needing repairs or replacement due to UV or water damage. Use Barrettine Universal Wood Preserver as a priming before applying to unpreserved wood. This increases the cladding’s resistance to wood-boring insects and damp rot, hence extending its lifespan. Apply Barrettine Wood Reviver before this cladding oil if the wood has already started to become grey due to UV exposure. As a result, the wood will regain its natural colour, and the oil will shield it from further fading and sun damage.
