Protect from direct sunlight. Shelf Life 12 months minimum form production date if stored properly in original unopened packaging. Technical Data: Mixing Ratio Add 24 – 26% cold, clean water by weight of powder or 4.8 – 5.2 liters per 20 kg bag. Pot life Approximately 60 minutes at 30°C. Open Time Approximately 30 minutes at 25°C (Skinning Wacker Method) Density Fresh Mortar – Approximately 1.90 kg/ltr Coverage: One 20 kg bag will cover approximately 4.5 – 6.6 m² at 2-3 mm thickness Temperature Minimum 5°C, Maximum 40°C (substrate) Application Details: Substrate Preparation Concrete, mortar and masonry Surfaces must be clean, free from grease, oil and loosely adhering particles. Suitable mechanical methods such as abrasive blast cleaning; high pressure water jetting at sufficient pressure (minimum 150 bar) and volume; scabbling or needle gunning. On “new” or smooth faced concrete, surfaces should be sand-blasted. All surfaces must be as true and flat as possible. Blow holes and irregularities should be filled with suitable CLASSICTop/Monotop products. Substrate absorbent concrete surfaces thoroughly with water to achieve a surface saturated dry (SSD) condition. Mixing : Add about 4.8 – 5.2 liters clean, cold water to a clean, suitable mixing container. Slowly add the CLASSIC® TILE BOND PRO-III powder and mix for at least 3 minutes until a homogeneous mix, free of lumps is achieved. Do not mix more CLASSIC® TILE BOND PRO-III than can be used within the open time. Do not add extra water or other ingredients after mixing! Application Apply CLASSIC® TILE BOND PRO-III at 2-3 mm thickness directly to the concrete substrate. Using a notched trowel and spread the mortar evenly over the area to be tiled. Cover only an areat hat can be tiled within 15 – 30 minutes. Press tiles firmly into CLASSIC® TILE BOND PRO-III with a twisting action to ensure optimum adhesion. 1. Use 4 – 4.5 liters of clean water per 20 kg bag. 2. Mix well with a hand trowel. For large volume mixing use a slow speed drill (maximum 500rpm) 3. Apply with “V”-notched trowels for small tiles . 4. Apply with square notched trowel for bigger tiles. 5. Place the tiles firmly into the fresh adhesive.
