Product Description Safewalls Anti Viral Smoke & Flame Retardant protects interior walls and ceilings from both fire and viruses when applied over Safewalls Insulating Basecoat. In a fire, the basecoat expands to create an insulating barrier and the anti viral smoke and flame retardant emits a safe fire damping vapour that suppresses smoke and controls the spread of the fire. This provides fire ratings Class B s1 d0 and Class 0. The polyurethane hardened acrylic in the coating “cross links” in the drying process, which creates a smoother and harder surface. This prevents the microscopic pockets that form in traditional paints that host bacteria and prevent effective cleaning.
