It complies with EN 1504-7 standards and is suitable for use in hot and tropical climates. Applications: Ideal for controlling anodic areas (Principle 11, method 11.1 EN 1504-9). Provides corrosion protection for reinforcement in concrete repairs. Acts as a bonding primer for concrete and mortar surfaces. Key Features: Utilizes EpoCem® technology for enhanced bonding. Offers extended open time for repair mortars. Compatible with most Sika® repair mortars. Provides excellent adhesion to both concrete and steel. Contains a corrosion inhibitor. Certified for use under dynamic load conditions. Good resistance to water and chloride penetration. High shear strength and long pot life. Easy to mix and apply via brush or spray gun. Application Guidelines: Fresh Mortar Density (A B C mixed): ~2.0 kg/l at 23 °C. Consumption: For reinforcement corrosion protection: ~2 kg/m² for a 1 mm thick layer. Apply two layers for a total thickness of approximately 2 mm. As a bonding primer: 1.5 to 2.0 kg/m²/mm, depending on substrate conditions. Ambient Air Temperature: 5 °C minimum / 35 °C maximum. Substrate Temperature: 5 °C minimum / 35 °C maximum. Pot Life: ~3 hours at 20 °C. Waiting Time for Overcoating: Sika repair mortars or non-fast-setting concrete can be applied within the following time limits after application of SikaTop® Armatec®-110 EpoCem®: 5 °C: 6 hours, 10 °C: 5 hours, 20 °C: 2 hours, 30 °C: 1 hour.
